How Can Article Submission Sites Benefit Your Website?

January 11th, 2010 Jim Weiss No comments

Online business is the way of the future and more and more people are getting into it and making a decent living and salary. If you are planning to start up a web based business, then you should get to know about the way that you can use free article submission sites to boost your business online.

The most important thing to know about article submission sites is that they can increase the amount of traffic you get to your website. If you are using your website to sell products or to earn money from affiliate marketing or ad generation, then increasing your traffic is a key tool in web business success.

These type of websites work by creating back links to your own website. You enter the site and add an article on theme that you can write confidently about. When you add the article to the site database you also leave your own web address.

When you enter the article you also include your website details. After that when someone uses your article on their site it also adds a link back to your site, which often prompts people to check out your website.

Getting more traffic onto your website is important: business on the web is largely a numbers game. The more people you can get to the site, the more people are likely to make use of your website’s services. This means that in order to impress people your articles should be well written, pertinent, accurate and interesting. If your articles barely make sense or are nonfactual, then people are less likely to be attracted to your site.

Adding articles to article submission sites online is an easy and effective form of advertising for your website. It can drastically improve your stats such as traffic, hits and search engine page rankings. If you are not confident in your ability to write excellent articles, you can also contract other writers to do it for you.

Paying Less Money For Technology By Using Coupon Codes

November 1st, 2009 Chris Channing No comments

Society is quickly becoming more technologically advanced. Thankfully as it does so, the coupon industry has shifted with it. We can get rather large discounts off expensive technology- which is a life saver considering a good computer can easily total $800 or more without discounts.

Sometimes the only way to get wind of a discount or coupon is to subscribe to a newsletter from the manufacturer. You will be the first to know about coupons and such, but this option is less appealing for anyone who is too busy to take the time to read through each periodic newsletter. If the coupon isn’t in limited quantity, you will generally hear about it from others anyway.

Including coupons in the packaging of a product is the new way for many retailers to show their thanks. The best part is these coupons tend to be the best- offering better discounts than what you would see from your local newspaper. Whether for upgrades or for accessories to the product you bought, these coupons are good to hang on to.

Be on the lookout for discounts that you find on coupon websites. Retailers like to send coupons to such websites so they can syndicate the deals, but only to smart consumers who know to search for them. Internet entrepreneurs know this all too well in the domain registration business, where great discounts can be had at major registrars if only you search out coupons through other websites. Before hitting the checkout button, always do a quick search.

The Internet has become a big marketplace, but newspapers still have their place in coupons and discounts. Check the local newspaper for the latest coupons. You won’t find a lot of technology related coupons, but you will find some nonetheless. Chains such as Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club put out a lot of coupons in local newspapers that shouldn’t be passed up. Libraries have current newspapers if you aren’t currently subscribed- ask if you can take the coupons from them.

There is nothing worse than getting to checkout to find out that your coupon is expired. For physical coupons, it’s easy to check the expiration date. For digital codes used over the Internet, you will have to find out if they work with trial and error. The task is made easier by websites that let visitors vote on which discount codes work and which don’t- this can be a big time saver for you.

Closing Comments

You would be surprised at how much money you can save over a year after making use of coupons. Technology is expensive, but you don’t have to let it frustrate your bank account. Instead keep an eye open for coupons where ever they may appear.

With the addition of some high volume search keywords thrown in you will see great popularity and increased search engine rankings. Of course, if this is enough to satisfy you than you wouldn’t be here. But, if you want another option to use in addition to what you are already doing, your answer is here. Gaining as many backlinks as you possibly can is just what you are looking for. The key difference between this type of marketing and the kind you have already been using is that you can use more than just articles. All forms of media are open game here so if you want to learn how to get backlinks you should keep reading.

If this marketing strategy is relatively new to you, you can find tons of information on how you can get backlinks. Ebooks are all over the internet that deal strictly with teaching online business owners the basics.

When it comes to backlinks, there are only two kinds you will be dealing with and both are pretty easy to understand.

Two way backlinks are the result of exchanging links with other websites. You can do this with as many websites as you would like as long as the other website owners agree. Not every website owner is going to be willing to do this so evaluate your options carefully. Choose ones that are related to your niche, but aren’t your direct competition. This makes sense if you think about it. Why would you exchange links with your competitors? Creating partnerships with others related to your field of expertise that sell products that are related as well can provide a major boost though. When visitors are on these sites they will see your link and click through for answers to their other needs.

One way backlinks, on the other hand, are a lot more effective when it comes to business promotion and also provide you with more search engine consideration. They are very simple to gain because all you do is submit your content to article directories and other networking sites. For the best results, though, only post content on high ranking websites. Search engines then see these backlinks and begin to consider you to be a real benefit to your niche community and in return give you increased rankings.

Just a few of the websites you can use to submit content to are Hubpages, Wordpress, Ezine, Squidoo and YouTube.

Always remember, gaining backlinks is not the same strategy as article marketing is because you get some extra benefits with it. You are not confined to just written content and can explore a lot of new options by using audio and video in addition. Memorable content can be created efficiently this way.

If using these methods are of interest to you than you should continue doing your research on the subject. There are countless resources available that can provide you with the additional information you need.

Missing Step In Keyword Research

October 30th, 2009 John Driuers No comments

I speak to many small businesses working on organic search marketing. They usually understand the concept of keyword research, but often they miss a basic step that makes the difference between a successful search program and one that just bumps along without creating much of an impact.

Sure, they follow the basic steps. They analyze their logs to see which words are bringing the most traffic, the better to optimize for them. If they are smart, they analyze which keywords bring the most conversions, not just the most traffic. They understand the priorities and they use them to improve their Web site to drive even more traffic with those keywords. Great job, right?

Well, not exactly. It’s good as far as it goes, but there is a big missing step that can make a big difference in organic search success. You must also think about the keywords that aren’t bringing any traffic to your site right now.

For large sites, this is less of an issue. Larger sites get so much traffic that almost any keyword shows up in the referral list somewhere. But for small sites, that’s not true. For small sites, it’s easy for a referral list to miss important keywords.

What can you do to find these hidden keywords?

Check your competitors. You might be missing these keywords, but someone is getting them. See what words your competitors use on their sites and see if you are missing some of them on yours. Brainstorm outside your team. Get a perspective from your customers and others who are less familiar with your offerings. They might use words to describe your products that you don’t. Expand your buying cycle. Too often, we focus only on the later parts of the buying cycle. We focus on product names and model numbers and all the words people use when they are near purchase, but we forget the words people use at the outset of the cycle. Often we have no information on our sites about the problems our products solve-keywords about the problems are often overlooked. If you’ve been focusing only on the keywords that already bring you traffic, think about whether there might be keywords that you’re completely missing. Finding just a few of those hidden keywords might provide you the boost your organic search program has been missing.

Ways Of Article Marketing

October 28th, 2009 Franc Serpes No comments

Essentially, article marketing is a mode of advertising the products or services offered by your business. It has been used for many years; since the era of mass printing made it a viable opportunity for business owners. Obviously, in its earliest form article marketing was produced on paper and principally distributed in popular publications. However, today the distribution of marketing articles has been made faster and easier with the advent of the internet.

Article Marketing Today :

Article marketing, perhaps unsurprisingly, entails the writing of articles, which ideally are related in some way to your products or services. The articles are typically short, and range from 400-600 words, the aim being to interest a potential customer, but not bore him, or her, with too much extraneous information. A completed article is then distributed across the web on any number of free article sites, known as article directories. If written well, an article of this kind can garner interest in your business and attract potential customers or clients.

Today, internet marketing and e-commerce are big businesses. Subsequently, online articles marketing has become a popular form of advertising, especially among small companies that are unable to afford expensive methods of advertising. In fact, the world of online articles offers a mutually beneficial relationship: owners of article directories are provided with free content and business owners are offered free advertising.

The modern form of article marketing differs from its predecessors in other ways, too. For example, the presence of search engines has lead to search engine optimization, often known as SEO, which is the use of keywords and phrases to garner traffic to your article. In turn, this means that article writers and companies are able to target a specific audience, which ensures that their readers are also potential customers or clients.

Benefits of Article Marketing :

The chief advantage of article marketing, as already mentioned, is the fact that it is one of the very few free modes of advertising. However, there are many more reasons to explore the opportunity of article marketing. For example, well-written articles can increase the perception of your business. In other words, an interesting, informative and professional article will ensure that your company is perceived with high-regard.

Some article directories offer the opportunity to control the advertising space on your article’s page. This provides two advantages for a business owner. On one hand, he, or she, is able to ensure that no other advertising is competing for the same customers. Alternatively, it offers control over the advertising on the page and the potential revenue created from it.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning that articles marketing is a relatively easy way to promote your business. Once the articles have been distributed, they remain online for as long as you require them. Therefore, they can be a constant source of inbound traffic, with little or no extra work involved.

That said, the rise of article marketing has led to a decrease in the quality of articles and increased instances of plagiarism. Subsequently, if you plan to utilize article marketing it is wise to ensure that your text stands out for its informative content and high-quality. Submit your articles for free- Article Canyon

Increase Exposure With Article Submission Software

October 28th, 2009 E Rabadi No comments

Do you write articles and very few see you articles when searching? This is common and one solution is using Article Submission Software. When you submit your article through software, it is distributed to directories around the Internet. Software uses a spider program to create a web of links back to your article. Users will click the link and if the first paragraph states the information they are needing; they will read it all.

The keyword you chose causes the spider to us this to place your article in a category. Your keywords in the title and in your first paragraph are important for this reason. Creating content in your article that holds a readers interest should also be part of the keyword process. Using Search Engine Optimization will allow the submissions to have unique tags and targets that guarantee you are on the top of the search page.

The Article Submission Software will automate your article and you will not spend hours submitting your article. The three features you should look for in an automated program is the amount of directories they claim to submit, the type of sites they are submitted to, and how to use your targets and keywords with the software. These features are important to know in order to chose the software for your purpose.

The keyword your article uses will make a difference in choosing the directories and blogs that rank on top of search pages. The keywords that the directories acknowledge will create move traffic in volumes. When you use submission software you are simple cutting back on the time and money spent marketing your articles. This can be a waste unless you do your part so the software will know where to direct your story.

Using a qualified directory will attract more viewers. An example of keywords for solar landscaping: successful keywords for a targeted audience would be; environment, green technologies. Instead of a generic category like, environments. Using your keywords for specific categories demands using direct and pertinent data from your article or the speciality categories will not be used.

Article Submission Software works best when used properly with this understanding. Targets should aim for categorizing your article so pick carefully. Using words like, environments plus green technologies plus solar energy; is the best way to state your specialty articles. An article when submitted, are distributed into subcategories making the search easier and allows viewers to find exactly the information they are looking for.

Did you know that there are millions of articles in the matrix wanting to be read. In order to manipulate your article into the eyes of the reader you will have to submit articles to hundreds of directories. Using software does make a difference and will allow you to choose the categories and the sub-categories. All you usually have to do is fill out a form allowing you to help the software choose the right directories.

Most of the Article Submission Software comes with updates, built-in list of publishers to the directories like, e-zines and News Letters. Some even cull the duplicate content and help link-building. Search engine ranking comes by creating and distributing unique content over the Internet. Unique content consistently remains at the top.

First, you must improve your website for keywords. http://garyharvey.net/135/ezine-articles-submission-get-visitors/ Use good article software to help you write better articles. You should be using tools such as back links and creating ways to get traffic.

The Chance To Train For A Career In Computers

October 24th, 2009 Albartio Pheung No comments

In the economically strained times we live in, finding employment can be a task that seems nearly impossible without resigning yourself to working in MacDonald’s, especially if you don’t have the right qualifications to back up your intelligence.

If you left school a long time ago then starting up a learning course may not be something that you have seriously considered as you may think that you are too old now or that you no longer have the capacity to learn a whole new skill. However, there are IT training institutions that will train you in the most up to date way at a speed that suits you.

You choose what qualification you want to study for and most good places will help you decide which one is best for you, and you then commence studying for it in your own time at your own pace with optional classroom based question and answer sessions and workshops to provide you with all the help you need to achieve the qualification you want.

Some of the best training facilities are not located in the UK or in the US, but in India. The quality of learning that you can experience in India is just as high as it is in other countries, or depending on the particular institution you go to, possibly higher. But the thing that sells the “learning in India” prospect to a lot of people is the cost. In the UK or the US or more or less any other country that offers training of this standard, the cost of the course and the exams will be rather high, however if you study in India, you’re likely to pay around half of what you would have in another country, for the same standard of learning.

Once you have a Microsoft qualification you will be a “Microsoft Certified Professional” and these people are always in high demand, so to launch your career up to where it should be, start studying today.

Nokia N920

October 23rd, 2009 Fero Alenc No comments

So finally we have been graced with the presence of the Nokia N920, the awesome successor of N900. Many people are of the view that the set will be a touch-only device with an extremely large 4.13-inch capacitive screen, ARM Cortex A8 CPU, 32GB internal memory and Maemo 6 OS. But we can’t just give way to the rumours only, it’s the real thing that we will have to wait for and then decide for ourselves.

Now the main difference people think would be the fact that while the N900 comes with a QWERTY keyboard and a smaller resistive screen, the N920 will only have a touchscreen, a highly developed one at that. We also have GSM facility along with HSPA capabilities. The regular features like Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth along with the standard 3.5 mm audio jack and a microSD card slot will also be accompanying the handset. The camera is just the same, there is no specific difference between that of the N900 and this one. It will roughly be a 5 megapixel unit.

Even the CPU is said to be the same as that on Nokia N900 – the 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 implanted on the OMAP3430 podium. We are not sure about the version but no matter what it is, we can be certain of the fact that N920 UI is going to be implementing more than just some regular applications and some interface just to establish its superiority over the original all-landscape N900.

Now many people intend to keep on calling it a tablet device even when it has GSM and will centralize around the VoIP telephony. If that’s not enough, the phone also boasts the regular social networking facilities that are all the rage these days.

Of course, nothing is official as yet, the pictures have leaked but a lot more information is still not out in the open. So until then we can only make guesses. But one thing is for sure, Nokia N920 is one handset that will impress everyone who’s going to buy it.

Traffic To Your Blog

October 22nd, 2009 Franc Serpes No comments

Of course, you know that blogging is a great way to make money these days. And every article on how to make a blog make money says traffic is what does it all. So what is traffic? Before you sign up for any blog service, know what you’re targeting.

When people talk about traffic, they often don’t know the line between mere hits and visits that actually do the blog good. Hits will only mean the number of times that a user seeks information on a site. It could be a request for an image, a video or text and the person can actually keep making that request and each time, it will be counted as a hit. Now you know why hits just aren’t reliable indicators of blog performance.

In other words, when you consider traffic, you have to take into account what your readers actually do while visiting your blog. Then you can work from there. For example, what is the average amount of time they spend on your blog? That is a much better sign of how things are actually going. When your reader clicks away in a matter of seconds, there is definitely a problem in there. Look into the actual page they usually exit from and examine what could need a fixing.

Maybe your design is too loud or maybe your page or pages appear unorganized. Maybe you’ve been using inappropriate keywords and driving the wrong people to your page. Remember that keywords are always crucial when you want traffic. In fact, looking closely into them allows you to look into what your readers actually want from you and what drives them. If you suspect that you might be having problems around this part, you certainly have to look closer and pinpoint what’s wrong. Otherwise, you could be pouring your efforts down the drain.

You can also look into which of your posts have gotten the most visits and comments. From there, you would know what approaches to your topics work best and you can try to use them more often for your future posts. For example, if you noticed that you did very well on posts where you added a lot of pictures, take that cue. Make it a point to have pictures on each of your posts. Just make sure these images are appropriate for the topic or they could easily backfire on you.

There are other behavior patterns you can observe while studying your traffic. However, they will all work to highlight the good things you’ve been doing so you can reinforce them and the bad so you could change or improve them. When you blog to express yourself, you?re obviously not obligated to anyone but you. But when you’re blogging to make money, you actually owe your readers your full commitment. After all, how can you expect to make money with blog posts that are inconsistent? Your readers need to know that you’ll always be there or they just won’t find the point in following you.
